  1. Comcast Scores in Philly, Boca Raton

Comcast ( NASDAQ:CMCSA ) recently notched two large customer wins, one in Philadelphia and another in Boca Raton, FL. In Philadelphia, Comcast Business is providing Ethernet services to start-up and tech communities at The Microsoft Reactor, a hub for entrepreneurs and technologists in the University City Science Center's corporate offices at uCity Square. Comcast is providing 100 Mbps Ethernet Dedicated Internet service to support the Reactor's internal and external network and WiFi offering. Designed to strengthen Microsoft's connection to Philadelphia, The Microsoft Reactor is a community hub providing support and resources to students, entrepreneurs and developers to foster innovation, collaboration and economic development. Entrepreneurs and the local business community will use the center for networking events and educational opportunities, and will benefit from access to Microsoft technologies. In Boca Raton, Comcast has launched Xfinity On Campus at Lynn University, which has approximately 3,000 students. Xfinity On Campus lets college students watch live TV and on demand content on their IP-enabled devices, such as laptops, tablets and smartphones. The multiscreen service is powered by Comcast's cloud-based X1 Entertainment Operating System and is currently serving students at more than 60 schools across the country. "Today's college students are on the go and are increasingly viewing content - whether email, class notes, or TV shows - via their iPads, laptops and other mobile devices. The Xfinity On Campus offering has evolved to better support students and provide them with their favorite shows or sporting event in any campus location," said Rafael Visbal, vice president of commercial development for Comcast's Florida Region.
