  1. Utah Scientific to Show UltraHD, IP Video Tech

At the 2016 NAB New York show in November, Utah Scientific will be showcasing UltraHD and IP video products. Utah Scientific's new UHD-12G 4K digital routing switcher is designed to enable distribution of 4K SDI video signals, from SD data rates up to 12G, in a single-link interconnect. It's intended for live acquisition of UltraHD content and is designed to receive, route, and distribute SDI signals all the way up to 12G and 60 frames per second. The company is also focusing on SDI-to-IP conversion with its UTAH-400 IP Technology, intended to help operators transition to IP-based topologies while still maintaining current SDI workflows. UTAH-400 users can construct IP or hybrid "islands" within current SDI infrastructure routing cores.
