Top 10s of 2013, as Chosen by our Readers

BTR_Feature_Art_top10_12_18_13 Wondering what was hot in cable's technology space this year? Look no further. Here are our top 10 lists for feature stories, videos and special projects for the last year. The rankings, from most views to least, are based on traffic data from our web site and e-letters - in other words, they tell us what you, cable's movers and shakers, found most interesting and important this year.

Top 10 Features

The single biggest tech story this year has been DOCSIS 3.1, as evidenced by its appearance in three of the top 10 feature slots. Wireless generally and multiscreen video specifically both continue to generate strong interest as well.

As always, our videos largely stole the show, which is nice because we kind of pride ourselves on them. As in years past, show coverage figured strongly this year; however, the top performer by far was our Three Questions with a Leader interview with Tony Werner. Look for more Leader interviews next year.

  1. Three Questions with Comcast's Tony Werner - from BTR

Honorable Mentions

Some of these are just weird and/or illustrations of the power of a good headline, but they're all about wireless, over-the-top (OTT), or both. Regardless, they got too many hits to ignore.
