Suddenlink Reaches 1 Million Internet Subs

Suddenlink has achieved a new milestone, recording 1 million high-speed Internet customers. Mark Saenz from Midland, TX, is the millionth customer and was awarded an iPad and one year of free services from Suddenlink.

The milestone has been reached shortly after the company completed work on its nationwide capital investment program, Project Imagine, which involved approximately $350 million of investments over three years.

The project involved extending DOCSIS 3.0 technology from fewer than 40% to more than 90% of the MSO's customers, more than tripling its number of HDTV channels, expanding its VOD reach to more than 90% of its customers, increasing Internet speeds, and the introduction of all-digital TV lineups to several communities.
